Activities Information

These caves are approximately 30 minutes away from Villaricos. Here you can explore the caves with a guide. There are three levels of guided tour from a basic 2 hour walk to exciting climbing and potholing. A great place for all the family. The caves are pleasantly cool all year round.

About 1 hours drive but well worth the visit. Lots to do and see you could easily spend the whole day here. Take lots of drinks it gets very hot in the desert! There is a lovely pool with waterslides and Jacuzzi where you can cool off during your visit. Stunning mountain views. Diving is one of the water sports that can be practised along the Mediterranean coast, on the beaches of Villaricos, Vera, Garrucha and Mojácar. The excellent weather enjoyed all year round, make them ideal places for diving.

There is a PADI diving school in Villaricos village near the Esperanza port which has daily dives at 10:00, 12:30 and 4:30 weather permitting. Night dives can also be arranged.

Golf - Desert Springs

Desert Springs is the first desert golf course in Europe. It is a 10 minute drive from the apartment. You will find signs for it on the Vera road from Villaricos. Turn right at the Repsol garage.

Desert Springs has an exclusive restaurant which non golfers are welcome to use.

Desert Springs has a day spa offering a wide range of treatments.

For children and adults there is the Crocodile Club follow signs from the main entrance until you come to a gate with two stone lions. Here there is another restaurant which provides lighter meals; salads, pizza, pasta, sandwiches and burgers. Enjoy wonderful views of the mountains, swim and relax in the Jacuzzi. The children can use the games room, swim or play in the sand pit. There are sun loungers available - stay as long as you like!

Golf - Valle Del Este

Open to the general public from 11.00 a.m. until 4.00 a.m., the Beach Club comprises a restaurant, cafeteria, pizzería, trattoria, bar, swimming pool with sun loungers, Sailing School and a range of water sports.

The Valle del Este 18-hole golf course has been carefully designed to combine holes that represent a real challenge to the player, with other less strenuous holes.

The golf course boasts three lakes, one of which is extremely large and picturesque. In general terms, the course is a generous one in terms of landing areas and has a considerable amount of sand, with fairly large bunkers and very spacious greens.

In Valle del Este SPA you can “disconnect” and experience an environment full of sensations, relax and enjoy yourself.

Golf - Marina

This course is the new and exiting Levante Alemeriense golf course, surrounded by mediterranian seas, between Garrucha and Mojacar, with wonderful relaxing ocean views and colourful patches of laboured landscapes.

Golf - Cortijo Grande

The current 9-hole golf course with its majestic backdrop of orange groves, almond, fig and olive trees is truly breathtaking. Watered from an underground volcanic lake, the valley has been an agricultural paradise for several centuries.
